Electronic Examination System Course

A course introducing teaching staff to building, running and reporting on electronic examinations on the university platform.

A supervised electronic examination hall

The course covers the full life of an electronic exam, from building the question bank through to producing and reading the results.

A complete mock exam runs during the session, with participants taking the instructor and student roles in turn so they see both interfaces.

It is held ahead of the monthly examination period and is recommended for anyone using the platform for the first time.

What the course covers

  • Building and categorising the question bank

  • Setting up an exam, its timing and attempts

  • Invigilating and handling issues during the exam

  • Producing results and analytical reports
