Center completes the campus wireless network expansion

The Network & Communications division has completed the final phase of the campus wireless expansion, covering the colleges, the teaching halls and the student facilities.

The work included installing additional access points, upgrading the distribution hardware and re-planning channel allocation to cut interference, alongside separating the guest network from the staff network for security.

Staff and students can join the network with their existing university account, with no separate password per location.

The division monitors network performance daily and takes user reports through the department's help desk.
